You’ll be glad you’re on dry land for this nerve-shredding night of almost-unbearable suspense, a double-bill of cautionary tales about what can happen when you stray too far out of your depth. Few films have the immediate recognition factor of Jaws, but seeing Steven Spielberg’s Man v. Shark thriller on a big-screen places you right in the heart of the action, revealing new details, ratcheting up the tension and reminding you why audiences stayed away from the sea in droves when it was released in 1975.
